Clifford "The Maytag Man" McDowellDied peacefully in his sleep on Wed. Nov. 29, 2006. He was born Sept. 10, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lelia (Lingenfelter) McDowell and Clifford McDowell; a brother, a sister, and a nephew. He is survived by his wife of 56 yearss, Patricia; his children; Deborah Turner, Allen, Denise, Randy (Delia), Tracy (Marielle), Patrick (Elaine), Patsy (Stewart) Crerar, Curt (Tracie) and foster son, Erin (Diane) Lantry, 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a multitude of neighborhood children that flowed in and out of his home and life. Services will be Sat. Dec. 9 at Oaklandon Christian Church, 6701 Oaklandon Road. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow with refreshments served.
